2021 Youth Baseball Program
Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department
The Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department is currently accepting adult volunteer coach’s applications for the 2021 Baseball Program. Coaches must exhibit the ability to organize practices and communicate effectively with players (ages 6-8 years old), parents, and Recreation Department staff. They must also exhibit the ability to teach proper playing skills and fundamentals, sportsmanship, and provide an enjoyable atmosphere at practices and games. Year round athletic leagues for youth and adults are available, like youth baseball and basketball, adult softball and ultimate Frisbee just to name a few. Adults can take a day trip, enjoy a hike, or participate in dance, zumba, yoga or nia. For youth, there are an endless amount of summer camps and year round activities like toddler playtime, young gymnast, dancing and art programs.
