The Mildred Eual Center is partnering with the Brown E. Moore Head start program.
Our volunteers and staff have the opportunity to read to the head start program in Shreveport, Louisiana. The commitment is twice a month from 9:00am to 10:00am during the school week.
You will only be needed the last Tuesday of each month.
You can select a story from the books in the classroom. There are 16 head start classes to choose from.
If you are interested, call the center at 318-584-7086 and to sign up for the head start reading program and what days you are available to read to the class.

Description
The Mildred Eual Center is a 501c3 Senior Resource Center. Our center focuses on developing positive relationships with seniors, veterans and the community. We create an environment that welcomes everyone from diverse backgrounds and select materials that support and engage conversation about the education, workshops on life skills, elder mistreatment and emphasizes independent Living Skills and caregiver support.
