About MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue

Location:

14826 Spaulding Street, Omaha, NE 68116, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is "To provide foster care for rescued Boston Terriers. MABTR ensures a loving home environment while looking for a happy, safe 'forever' home for each rescued Boston Terrier."

Description

MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue Inc. (MABTR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation serving the states of Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota and Wyoming. The rescue agent for this group is Jennifer Misfeldt who has been rescuing dogs since 2002.

MABTR's program retrains Boston Terriers of any age and condition, both mentally and physically, in foster care. MABTR is prided on the ability to give commercial breeder (puppy mills) dogs a second chance at life.

The main objective of MABTR's rehoming program is to rescue and rehome surrendered Boston Terriers, dogs that are unwanted, homeless, neglected, strayed, or slated for euthanization or no longer wanted by their breeder. We are also able to help the Boston Terrier mixes.

MABTR follows a simple but expensive process that involves foster care, medical care, rehabilitation (if necessary), placement (re-homing), follow-up checks, and education to new owners regarding the health, care, and ownership of a Boston Terrier.
