ORGANIZATION: Compassionate Care Hospice

Music is a way into the soul. Compassionate Care is looking for musicians to visit terminally ill and dementia patients in our hospice community. Visits to these individuals could include singing, playing, or using electronic devices to bring music into the rooms of patients suffering from Alzheimer or other forms of dementia.

We ask for at least a six month commitment and the volunteer hours are a minimum of 1-3 hours a month. Come join our great community of volunteers and bring your talents of music and be a part of a wonderful outreach right in your neighborhood.

You will be trained in making these visits and working with these individuals. We require background screening and tuberculous testing which we make available for you.
