Calling all medical personnel and those who genuinely want to lift the spirits of patients in the hospital. We are in search of volunteers to visit with our patients who may be at risk for developing delirium. By playing cards, performing a gentle touch hand relaxation technique, reading to them, or just talking with them you are helping to prevent the onset of delirium.
This is a new volunteer position for our office and we have several openings each week that we want to fill. By volunteering in this manner you are helping us with our desire to serve patients in a way that the staff sometimes don't have the ability to do. This position very meaningful for all those involved. Please call us today to get more information and to get started making a difference in someone's day. The volunteer office number is 651-982-7775, call today!
