Help start a new Girl Scout Troop with the Boys and Girls Club!

This troop will meet during the Boys and Girls Club hours (2:45-6 PM) on any day of your preference (Mon-Fri). You can meet once a week, every other week, or once a month!

This Daisy, Brownie, Junior troop is looking for a fun loving and dedicated volunteer that can help support both the Girl Scouts and the Boys and Girls Club.

As a volunteer, you’ll introduce girls to new experiences that show them they’re capable of more than they ever imagined.

You’ll be their cheerleader, guide, and mentor, helping them develop skills and confidence that will last a lifetime. Imagine the smiles, the excitement, the memories made-those are the moments you’ll share at Girl Scouts.

Mission Statement

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

Description

Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
