The ReStore needs volunteers to help on our truck to pick-up donations from residences and businesses in the community. The Donations Assistant position is vital to the success of the Habitat ReStore. Collecting donations offered to the Habitat ReStores through our pick-up route helps maintain the material flow to the store and offers an alternative to landfill disposal in our community. As a face for the Habitat organization, driver assistants provide a positive experience that encourages further donor involvement.

About Habitat for Humanity of Dane County

3101 Latham Drive, Madison, WI 53713, US

Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Through our volunteer network, generous donors, sales from our two Habitat ReStores and our dedicated staff, we're helping families achieve strength, stability and self-reliance to build a better life through shelter.

At Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, we don't offer handouts, we offer a hand up.

In Dane County, 1 in 8 people live in poverty, including 16% of all Dane County children. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat for Humanity of Dane County builds and rehabilitates simple, decent homes with the help of our partner families to provide affordable housing. Habitat partner families provide labor and make monthly mortgage payments on their homes at a low interest rate.
