An opportunity has arisen to join The Hope Alliance in creating engaging and thought-provoking videos for our website, social media outlets, and other markets.
The ideal candidate is a volunteer looking for the opportunity to expand their professional portfolio or increase their philanthropic involvement in the community around them. This is a great chance to integrate your personal style into media that will be used at events, fundraisers and online. We are a small, very open minded staff who is always looking for new ideas!
Hours are flexible and the candidate will be able to work from home on specific projects. On-site duties may include interviewing past expedition volunteers, local volunteers, board members and those whose lives have been positively affected by The Hope Alliance. It will also include getting footage by attending our local clinics, events, and fundraisers.
Responsibilities:
It is important that you attend about one event per month to capture footage for your content. Attend monthly meetings with the staff to keep us updated on your work and to propose new ideas.
Desired Skills:
Creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment. An eye for creating thought-provoking content. Proficient in video editing software. Ability to work remotely, independently. Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends.

Mission Statement
The Hope Alliance is a humanitarian organization that empowers impoverished people to create positive and sustainable change in the lives of their families and their communities.
Description
The Hope Alliance provides a combination of resources and services necessary to address the root causes of poverty: unhealthy and under-educated populations, and the lack of economic development. Local organizations and villages co-lead these projects that include health worker training, medical care, clean water and sanitation projects, micro-economic development opportunities and education projects. The Hope Alliance assists communities in development, not relief. Although relief plays an important role in saving lives, it is only temporary and is not sustainable. Development is teaching the skills people need to help themselves and linking them to necessary resources .
