Make reading materials accessible to those who are vision impaired or who have learning differences. Learning Ally is a national nonprofit helping students and adults get the books they need to succeed in school. Post-production team members are needed for our Washington, DC Studio in Friendship Heights ensure recorded materials are of the highest quality. Review recordings and make corrections with easy to use software. Team members can serve in our office conveniently located in Friendship Heights, DC (day, evening, weekend hours) OR CAN SERVE FROM HOME (after a training period). Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and able to listen carefully to recorded books and identify errors to be corrected for a few hours each week. We ask for at least 50 hours of service after the training period due to the amount of training required.

Today, more than 30 million students struggle to read. By fourth grade, 65% of them are reading below proficiency. With early detection and proven accommodations, we can make strides in alleviating these detrimental consequences. Learning Ally is a leading nonprofit education solutions organization that transforms the lives of early and struggling learners through proven solutions from Pre-K through high school, to help students reach their potential.
We understand that all people learn differently and may need options to achieve their full potential. We are dedicated to helping individuals grow and succeed academically when access and reading are barriers to their learning. We will succeed by partnering with our communities and being a champion for those we serve so they may have the most accessible and effective solutions to achieve their personal best.
