Simply put, the RBC Heritage Golf Tournament would not be possible without our dedicated team of amazing volunteers. Their hard work and professionalism have earned one of the PGA TOUR's highest ratings, year after year. The generous support of our RBC Heritage Volunteer Team makes it possible for the Tournament’s general sponsor, the Heritage Classic Foundation, to consistently make substantial contributions to local charities.

Interested applicants must live or have accommodations within 1.5 hours of Hilton Head for the week of the Tournament and agree to work a minimum of 16 hours, or 4 shifts, depending on the committee. Certain committees have additional training. There is a $100 registration fee, which includes the uniform hat, jacket and shirt, a Tournament badge for the entire week, four meal tickets redeemable at all concession stands, preferred parking and shuttle transportation, and an invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party. Volunteers may also purchase up to four weekly grounds badges at a discounted $75 price (over 50% off). By charging a modest fee, the Heritage Classic Foundation is able to reduce overhead costs and help ensure that proceeds benefit local charities.

The mission of the Heritage Classic Foundation is to deliver the highest quality PGA TOUR golf event as well as other distinguished events that generate significant economic impact and promotion for the Hilton Head-Bluffton area, the Coastal Empire and the State of South Carolina while generating funds for charitable causes that enhance the quality of life for all.
Description
The Heritage Classic Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives throughout the state of South Carolina. As the general sponsor of the PGA TOUR’s RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing and several other prominent golf events, thousands of dollars generated from ticket sales and sponsorships are distributed to charitable organizations that enhance the quality of life for our citizens.
Each year, the RBC Heritage champion is presented with a plaid jacket, a trophy and a winning check but the real winners are the many people who are helped as a result of the success of the Foundation’s tournaments and giving programs - the Heritage Champions Fore Charity, the Birdies for Charity & our South Carolina License Plate Program. Since 1987, close to $34 million has been distributed to people in need including hundreds of outstanding students through our Heritage Scholars program. Help us help others!
