For All Species Education is looking for a couple more compassionate persons to assist us with our mission. We specialize in wildlife education and outreach, teaching people in the Central Ohio about our native species. We work with the goals of fostering appreciation, supporting conservation, and stimulating curiosity.

For All Species also provides a home to over a dozen non-releasable animal ambassadors who rely on us for their nutritional, medical, psychological and habitat needs.

What you can gain by joining us:

  • Learn to care for different types of animals: birds, reptiles, mammals
  • Gain experience toward careers in the animal care fields
  • Experience in training and animal enrichment
  • Satisfaction that you have improved the lives of our ambassadors

What we are seeking from volunteers:

  • Reliability of 2-3 hours weekly, though it is ok if you need to take off sometimes. Willingness to clean animal habitats for a portion of that time.
  • A desire to interact with non-domestic animals like birds, turtles, squirrels, opossum, etc - much time is spent training and socializing them, but in ways much different from lap petting dogs and cats.
  • Willingness to assist with minor medical treatments for those ambassadors who need them. Don't worry we will train you and you will be working with a veterinarian.

We are currently in need of folks with availability during any of these times.

Mondays - 9am-6pm
Tuesdays - 9am-6pm
Wednesdays - 9am-6pm
Thursdays - 9am-6pm
Fridays - 9am-6pm
Saturdays - variable, since we do a lot of off site programs on weekends, these shifts are coordinated based on program schedule

*** Please note*** Due to the natural diets of many of our ambassadors, we do not have a nut-free environment.
