Are you the one who could take our social media presence to the next level? We're looking for a passionate, energetic, and talented marketing volunteer to help us engage our online community better. Your role will involve developing and sharing updates related to our fiscally sponsored projects and optimizing this content to grow our community most effectively, across networks such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Plus, you will have the opportunity to engage a wide variety of artists, media producers, and activists, and build your own skills and network in the process. Remote volunteers are happily accepted.

IAM’s mission is to support independent, non-commercial art and media projects and producers for the purpose of building community and civic participation, and facilitating cultural engagement and free expression.

Description

Independent Arts & Media is a unique and growing fiscal sponsor for artists, journalists and media producers. We support independent producers and projects that advance our mission, by empowering independent producers doing non-commercial work in the public interest to raise their own funding, and develop and present their work on their own terms. Our ultimate vision is to strengthen a culture of democracy by cultivating art and media projects that engage neighbors in civic life.

IAM currently supports over 60 affiliates dedicated to non-commercial work in media and the arts, including publishing, theater, dance, music, visual art, film and video, journalism, history, and public-events production.
