Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, widely recognized as one of New York's premiere human services providers, is a 123-year-old settlement house that provides an extensive array of effective and integrated services on Manhattan's East Side. Our Senior Center in East Midtown is seeking yoga instructors to lead classes for an active older adult community. Two classes are being offered: Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 and Friday, 9:45-10:30. If you are interested in teaching eiither class please contact Anthony Snowden, Volunteer Director

Description

Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was founded in 1894 by the Alumnae Association of Normal College (now known as Hunter College of the City University of New York) as a free kindergarten for the children of indigent immigrants. Since then, we have remained at the forefront of community advocacy and social and educational change.
