Volunteers to teach JA Programs at Cornerstone Community School are needed. This program includes five 30-minute volunteer led activities. Visits can be scheduled directly with the classroom teacher during March through May. All materials and 1 hour training will be provided by Junior Achievement.
Volunteers are needed for:
1st Grade- 1 class JA Our Families Program
2nd Grade- 1 class JA Our Community Program
5th and 6th Grade- 2 classes JA Global Marketplace Program
Volunteers will be able to coordinate their visits to the school directly with the participating classroom teacher.

Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio is educating students throughout Ashland, Carroll, Coshocton, Crawford, Knox, Marion, Medina, Morrow, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Richland, Wayne and Wyandot counties.Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides programs for students in grades K-12 educating them about:
Entrepreneurship Workforce Readiness Financial Literacy
JA programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action, and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
