CAMP

Our Summer CAMP applications are to become available at the beginning of January 2017.

Our CAMP holds nine week-long sessions each summer at Camp CAMP in Center Point, TX for individuals with special needs between the ages of 5 and 50. Be a hero to a very special CAMPer next summer!

99 service hours are given for a full session, and you will get hours for your training, also. If you are interested in signing up for summer, please fill out a Volunteer/Staff application at www.campcamp.org.

*Summer CAMP begins in May and ends in August

We will be posting the CAMPer schedule Friday, December 16, 2016 in order for potential volunteers to have an idea of what our summer CAMP entails.

We will not be posting a link on this site. You will need to apply on CAMP's website.

Mission Statement

CAMP's Mission is to strengthen and inspire individuals with special needs - and those who care for them - through Recreation, Respite and Education.

Description

Children's Association for Maximum Potential (CAMP) is a non-profit organization established in 1979 to provide a wide range of recreational, respite and education services for individuals with disabilities and their families. Central to each of CAMP's programs is the provision of medical support. This ensures that everyone, regardless of the degree of their medical needs, will be able to participate in all programs. CAMP's goal is to fill major gaps in services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This is also done indirectly by training potential care-providers at all levels in order to support families in the care of their family member with special needs. All CAMP programs take place at either the San Antonio facility or the Hill Country camp.
