Hello! Thank you for considering a volunteer position at Florida Hospital Carrollwood. This position involves actively serving as a resource for the families and friends of our surgical patients. You will keep them informed during each phase of the surgical process, sharing what their next expectation should be. If you've ever spent time in a hospital waiting room while a loved one has been in surgery then you realize how important this position is. We have support staff to assist and will offer all training necessary for this position. Weekday positions are available, 8 am to noon and noon to 4 pm. We offer our volunteers a free meal each shift, free uniform, free flu and TB screening and more.
