Help the Hays County Food Bank fight food insecurity by volunteering in our warehouse! Volunteers will assist with picking up food from local HEBs, weighing and sorting food, creating boxes for pick-up, loading and unloading vans, sweeping/mopping, taking out the trash, recycling, and general cleaning of the work areas.
Shifts are from 8 am-12 pm or 12 pm-4 pm Mondays-Thursdays. Weekend shifts are also available from 7:45 am-12 PM. For further questions please contact Jessica Cruz, Volunteer Coordinator, at jcruz@haysfoodbank.org or at 512-392-8300 ext 222.

Our mission is to feed hungry people in Hays County, Texas.
Description
The Hays County Food Bank functions as both a food pantry that distributes food at our public distribution sites Monday - Friday and as a food bank that serves the clients of our partner agencies at no charge.
Partner agencies include local social service agencies, churches, schools, home health service providers, local shelters, and various other organizations that work with low-income residents in our area.
