We're pivoting our on-site programs to virtual offerings and need your help!

Have you ever launched a project, paid a bill, overcome a life setback, or had a job?!

If so, then Being the CEO of ME is a fun way to have a significant impact on youth while building life skills, character development, and inspiring the next wave of entrepreneurs and global marketplace influencers!

At MetIncPowerCo volunteers come from all walks of life, such as business professionals, community groups, high school and college students, retirees, educators, entrepreneurs and parents. They are passionate about preparing Georgia’s students to thrive in today’s world by giving personalized glimpses in how to succeed in the global economy as well as everyday life.

Particularly with businesses and entrepreneur volunteer groups, we can also brainstorm additional ways, during your volunteer day, to make the time with our middle school and high school students more relevant to your work goals, such as:

Shadow Co-Client Meetings - volunteer for a day with our students while they sit in alongside your business and community meetings to build and understanding of why it's important to create relationships. This has been adjusted to allow for Zoom meetings, webinars, etc. in light of the recent health crisis.
Once COVID-19 guidelines allow, this opportunity is available with the option to have a meeting in one of our partnered community spaces to increase collaboration and community-building all across Georgia.

Professional Development & Corporate Values - volunteer for a day with our students to help emphasize company skills and values. Share with them your "WHY" you do business, your corporate values and how companies are ethical corporate citizens in the marketplace.

Mentorship Shadow Day- volunteer for a day with a youth participant at your onsite business to showcase a "day in the life" in your industry, position, or career track.
This option has been amended in light of the recent COVID-19 health crisis, to include a live video chat option where the participating students can remotely shadow in real-time with volunteer mentors using Zoom.

Career Development - volunteer for a day with our students and your Employee Resource Network groups, e.g. young professionals in your business, to allow our students to see the process that begins discussions of employee development plans alongside business leaders.

Teambuilding - volunteer for a day with our students and your department or team and use the space at one of our partnered sites to develop team building exercises and/or hold team event in the local area for youth participants.

Virtual Volunteer Training Orientations are available every 2nd Saturday of the month via Zoom. Once we receive your background check, you will automatically receive an invite for orientation.
