You can make a difference in the lives of those affected by Alzheimer's.

The job of the Community Educator is to deliver prepared education programs using training materials from the Association. All topics are related to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias as well as information that affected individuals and families need regarding learning how to recognize the signs of Alzheimer’s disease, tips and support for caregivers, and planning for the future.

Presenters are expected to:

  • Provide a minimum of 12 presentations through staff collaboration and/or by scheduling your own presentations (faith community, nonprofit organizations, social services, guest speakers, etc)
  • Refer attendees to the resources and programs of the Alzheimer’s Association as appropriate
  • Successfully complete online training as well as individual preparation for each program

This is also a great opportunity for college/graduate school students 21+ looking for experience.
