The Children & Family Services office in Ellensburg is in need of volunteer drivers to provide transportation for the children and families we serve. Types of trips may include rides to places like school, the doctor, visits, and other appointments. Trip lengths vary, whatever time you may have we can use!
Children & Family Services will reimburse your mileage, and you will have had the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child. Even if you are only free for an hour or two a month, this would be a wonderful way to help foster children in your community. Application and background checks required for clearance.
The mission of the Department of Children, Youth & Families is to protect children and strengthen families so they flourish.
The Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) focuses on the well-being of children. Out vision is to ensure that "Washington State's children and youth grow up safe and healthy-thriving physically, emotionally and academically, nurtured by family and community."
