Intergenerational Chess at DOROT

Youth volunteers needed to play chess with older adults and brighten their day. Share a friendship across the chess board and gain community service hours.

Registration is still open on a rolling basis!

Fall/Winter:

Jan. 29 - May. 14 from 4:00-5:30pm

Students and DOROT Seniors will get to know each other and play chess together. Refreshments will be served. Free.

Requirements:

for 6th - 12th grade students
must commit to all sessions
understand the game of chess
understand the different chess pieces and how to move them
