Join Bridgeway Academy for its annual Spruce it Up Day. Every year on Martin Luther King Jr., Bridgeway Academy welcomes the community for a day of service. Volunteers help to spruce up the organization's 100+ year old building. From deep cleaning and minor construction projects to painting and cleaning. the efforts of volunteers directly impact the students, staff and families of Bridgeway Academy. And, we have a lot of fun, too.
Bridgeway Academy is a non-profit organization in Old North Columbus with a mission to meet the educational and therapeutic needs of children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Description
No two students diagnosed with a developmental disability learn the same way. Bridgeway Academy's highly trained staff works collaboratively, providing a supportive and compassionate learning and therapeutic environment that meets the individual needs of each student.
The Education Center is a private school that follows a traditional academic-year calendar. It features small classroom sizes and unparalleled student-to-teacher ratios for students in early-intervention/preschool through high school.
Camp Bridgeway provides students with important physical, recreational and social opportunities. The ability to get outside, to run and to play is important for all children with and without disabilities.
More than twenty highly-qualified and certified therapists provide services to both the students enrolled in the Education Center as well as those who come to the Therapy Center strictly for therapeutic services. No other similar center in central Ohio employs this number of therapists or offers these kinds of services in one place.
