Friday - KILT Run, begins at 6 pm
Saturday - 1/2 marathon, 8K & 4K Run/Walk Begins at 7:17 am
It is an Irish weekend in Glendale. We’re kicking it off on Friday night trying to break the world record for runners in Kilts - proceeds to American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Then on Saturday morning, there will be a 1/2 marathon, 8k, 4k and an Irish k for kids. Lots of Irish Music, plus food, beverage and medals for all participants. Saturday’s festivities are produced in partnership with Arizona Prostate Cancer Center and Prostate On-Site Project, helping to raise awareness of prostate cancer and donating to support prostate cancer screenings.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed on Friday and Saturday to help out with packet pickup, registration, event setup, food & water distribution and monitoring the course.
