The Learning Lab for Eldercare Technologies is a new initiative under the umbrella of Augustana Care, a non-profit organization that provides senior housing, health care and community-based services to older generations and others in need-and helps residents live the lives that most inspire them.
The Lab is located in a beautiful facility that houses an array of non-profits that provide services to older Minnesotans. The Lab itself will be providing demonstrations and training to seniors and their caregivers on health and safety technologies. This is an exciting new area, especially for older adults who are interested in living in their homes and chosen communities.
The Lab will be opening its doors in January and needs enthusiastic volunteers to help create and maintain our email and mailing lists, track Lab visitors and fulfill other record-keeping/clerical duties.
