Grace Hospice is looking for talented sewers/quilters who are interested in a feel good sewing project which would benefit multiple patients with Alzheimers and Dementia. We are looking perhaps for a sewing group who would be willing to create multiple "fidgety" lap blankets.
-Lap blankets are typically 3x4 ft. and comprised of various types of materials (left over scraps perhaps?) that can keep fidgety hands busy.
-fidgety blankets prove to be an extremely beneficial sensory tool that has the ability to calm and sooth the wandering mind (and hands).
