ABOUT OUR WINTER MOBILE MARKET INTERNSHIP
We are currently looking for 2-4 volunteers to assist our Farmers Market manager at various stops throughout Worcester. Specifically, volunteers will:
- load and unloading the Mobile Market van (tables, baskets of produce, signs, etc.);
- set up and breakdown of the Mobile Market on-site (tables, baskets of produce, signs, etc.);
- assist Mobile Market customers with their purchases (bagging, weighing, engaging, etc.);
- check and re-stock inventory from the Mobile Market van.

At R.E.C. our work is expanding, and we now conceive of our many initiatives as the branches of two program trees:
Food Justice Program, which includes
- UGROW (Urban Garden Resources of Worcester)
- YouthGROW (Youth Growing and Raising Organics in Worcester)
- Manage several mobile and stationary farmers markets in Worcester, MA.
Environmental Health & Justice Program, which includes
- Food justice
- WLAC (Worcester Lead Action Collaborative)
- Diesel Pollution Solution
- Earth Day Cleanups
- Public Education & Advocacy
