Then Wings of Hope Equitherapy is the place for you!

Wings of Hope provides equine assisted activities to children and adults with unique physical, mental, and emotional challenges.

Lessons are held in our covered arena or outside on the trail.
Monday through Thursday mornings, afternoon, and evenings and Saturdays morning and afternoon
  • Volunteer 1 1/2 -2 hours each week
  • No horse experience necessary
  • Physically fit and able to walk for an hour over uneven ground
  • Able to communicate with instructor, rider, and other volunteers
  • At least 14 years old

All volunteers start as side walkers, walking next to the rider during their lessons to provide safety and support.

It is the mission of Wings of Hope Equitherapy to provide quality equine-assisted activities to children and adults with unique physical, mental, and emotional challenges. Core Purpose is to provide hope and healing with gentle horses and the love of God.


Wings of Hope provided equine assisted activities to children and adults with unique challenges.
Through the power of a horse, individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to work through challenges facing them in daily life. Learn tools to helps them work through those challenges.
Wings of Hope serves 80+ individual weekly, ranging in the age of 3-90, with many difference disabilities.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization, without volunteers we couldn't serve those in our community in need.

  • Must be able to commit to the same day and time each week. Able to walk for an hour on uneven ground and in sand.
