ORGANIZATION: Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue

We need volunteers over the age of 18 to walk and teach basic obedience skills to our rescued dogs. Volunteers are asked to spend at least one hour weekly with the dog they are paired up with. Our dog walking program will reopen in the spring of 2018.

Cat volunteers care for the cats at Save-A-Pet, cleaning cages and caring for them including spending time with the.

Fund Raising Volunteers are needed all ages, from creating events and following through entire event.

Teen and children volunteers are needed to do supply drives, create programs for other kocal children, collect empty ink cartridges and used cell phones for recycling, blanket drives and much more.

At Save-A-Pet we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned and homeless animals, and to place them in loving,permanent homes. We provide spay and neuter services and any necessary medical care. We work diligently to educate the public, especially children, on the importance of pet sterilization and and responsible pet ownership.
