We are seeking persons 17 years and up to become members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 48 located on Bainbridge Island we serve all of North Kitsap county. You must be a U.S. citizen to join. Boat ownership is not required. Become part of "America's Volunteer Life Savers". The Auxiliary is an ongoing membership not a summer job, we assist the regular Coast Guard with boating safety education,vessel safety checks and safety patrols upon the waters of Puget sound. To promote and improve Recreational Boating Safety by providing exceptional boating safety education to the American public, with the aim of eliminating loss of life, personal injury and property damage.

Description

USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 48 is an all volunteer, non-military organization serving the communities of Kingston, Poulsbo, Silverdale and Bainbridge Island. Our activities include Boater Education, Vessel Safety Checks and on-water patrols requested by the Coast Guard.
