Changing Footprints has a small (1000 sq ft - 2000 sq ft) donated space in Indianapolis where volunteers collect, sort, and redistribute shoes to those in need in the Indianapolis area. Our volunteer group in Greenwood/Southern Indianapolis knows they could do more to collect and distribute shoes to Johnson County/Southern Marion County residents, if they had a small space to operate from (rather than hauling shoes up and back from the Indianapolis site).
If you have 500 square feet or more that we could operate from, we could change the lives of many of our neighbors? We are looking in the Beach Grove, Greenwood, southern Indianapolis area. We are 100% volunteer organization, working out of donated space with donated supplies and volunteer labor. We do no fundraising - we simply collect, sort, qualify, and redistribute shoes at no charge, so we need a rent-free situation; a barn, a storefront, a small building, an unleased doctor's office, a U-store-it space. We would understand it is only on a temporary basis, but if you can loan it "for a while", give us a call. Bob Broughton 317-727-4186 www.changingfootprints.org to see how we help others.
