We're looking for a professional photographer to take pictures of buildings that we're working with on a Santa Monica pilot for food waste composting with apartment complexes. The shoot is of various locations around Santa Monica, and may include a "waste sort" by Global Green staff. Logistics will be confirmed with the volunteer.
Having compelling images of some of the buildings participating in the program will help us recruit more buildings in Santa Monica and spread the word about the project. Global Green is currently working with over 10 cities to start and expand food waste collection for apartment buildings, and we're seeking to build additional interest for the project among communities, individuals, cities and building managers.
Our goal is to work with a photographer who can come and take some initial pictures of the buildings, and then who would be interested in coming back to take pictures when we have building events and outreach. Santa Monica locals are welcome to contact us as we're looking to help spread the word in the community!

Global Green has influenced more than $20 billion dollars worth of building construction by encouraging the integration of green building and sustainability practices, and we’ve educated millions of people about climate-friendly solutions through our five annual events, including the green event of the year, our Pre-Oscar Party. Our impact has been felt across the country, particularly in areas affected by disasters such as Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans where we led green rebuilding efforts and continue to provide assistance and resources to local residents.
