Will be responsible for social media, press releases, copywriting- and for managing the CRM system. Reporting to ED, this person will help define all marketing materials (on and offline), assist with the development of and execution of the short and long-term social media strategy, day-to-day management of social content, community engagement, monitoring/listening, and tracking & analysis of metrics for AFSCV's social media and online presence.

Skills needed: Excellent grammar, basic social media experience, exposure to CRM system and basic understanding of campaign management, Google/FB analytics, Canva.

Interest in French culture strongly preferred.

Expected time commitment: 5 hrs a week, peaking before main events
Location: South Bay area

The Alliance Francaise Silicon Valley will be seen by people in as the premier institution for all things related to French language and culture. It will achieve this vision through:

  • Reaching a broad base of people throughout, including beginner students of all ages and expatriate French nationals. It will continue to understand their interests and needs and then meet them through a wide range of affordable activities and services, accessible in a variety of locations.
  • Offering a high standard of teaching facilities and advanced teaching methods using current technologies and multi-media tools.
  • Working in collaboration with other French organisations and with other cultural institutions as appropriate
  • Providing a working environment, which attracts the highest quality management, teachers and staff who are intimately connected with French language and culture.
