Graphic Designer:
Responsible for fulfilling all graphics needs for the AFSCV, print (online and offline); preparing materials for ppt's, collateral, invitations, flyers, email templates, and maintaining brand vernacular across all channels. This person will also help with photo/video production, editing, online posting and archiving. Skills needed: HTML basics, In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent editing software. Strong sense of visual style. Interest in French culture a plus.
Expected time commitment: 10-15 hrs a week, peaking in the first three months, then tapering to 5 hrs.

Alliance Francaise Silicon Valley (AF Silicon Valley) is a non-profit organization and the official center of French Language and Culture in Silicon Valley. Its mission is to promote and enhance the knowledge and appreciation of French and francophone cultures and language, and to encourage interaction among French, Francophone, and American people through programs in education and the arts.
Description
The Alliance Francaise Silicon Valley will be seen by people in as the premier institution for all things related to French language and culture. It will achieve this vision through:
- Reaching a broad base of people throughout, including beginner students of all ages and expatriate French nationals. It will continue to understand their interests and needs and then meet them through a wide range of affordable activities and services, accessible in a variety of locations.
- Offering a high standard of teaching facilities and advanced teaching methods using current technologies and multi-media tools.
- Working in collaboration with other French organisations and with other cultural institutions as appropriate
- Providing a working environment, which attracts the highest quality management, teachers and staff who are intimately connected with French language and culture.
