Come to the rescue!
Come be a Brown Bag Hero at Anaheim Independencia and do your part in combating food insecurity among families in Orange County. A couple of hours of your morning will provide a couple of weeks worth of hunger relief.
Anaheim Independencia Family Resource Center/CAPOC gets a monthly shipment of food provided by Second Harvest under the "Brown Bag" program to be donated to families with food insecurity. YOU will have the vital role of helping with unloading the food and packing it into individual bags for easy distribution. Shipments come in one day a month during the start of the first full week of that month.
We need the help of people like you willing to volunter their time in order to contribute to the success of this food assistance program.
