Security
♦ Monitor all exits and entrances to ensure no child is walking out alone
♦ Interacts with guests in a polite and professional manner
♦ Create a safe and comfortable working environment
♦ Respond immediately and professionally to guest disturbances/incidents
♦ Effectively diffuse potentially volatile situations by notifying a Dare2B Ambassador or staff member
♦ Enforce facility policies and procedures
VENUE
♦ Conduct foot patrol at venue to secure area and ensure safety of all guests
♦ Maintain crowd control in photo and activity areas

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
♦ NO walk ins permitted. All volunteers must be registered in advance
♦ NO children under 14
♦ Wear black solid shirt (NO logos), blue jeans, comfortable shoes
-Please note venues tend to be cold. We recommend layers under
your black shirt
♦ All volunteers are required to retrieve, arrange and store all assigned equipment
♦ Photo release forms will be provided upon arrival

Since 2009, Dare2B has focused on empowering homeless children in NYC to break their cycle of poverty. Our educational programs and special events are designed to inspire Dare2B kids to develop critical skills and tools essential to them creating their own opportunities for sustainability and viable economic growth. This includes providing:
- unique experiences that make transitional living less traumatic for homeless children.
- innovative solutions that equip and inspire homeless children, ages 5 - 17, to break the cycle of poverty.
