Key Responsibilities -Must be located in or near NYC. - Able to visit venues, coordinate logistics with vendors. -Work as part of the organization's team even though remotely located. -Knowledge of venues, restaurants and vendors in NYC required. - Develop and manage pre- and on-site registrations for event and program - Solicit for donated food/drink and auction/raffle items for event - Secure equipment and rentals as needed; set up, tear down, and help coordination of overall event execution - Attend fundraising event as an on-site manager
Commitment
- January thru event date TBD in May -Hours per week will fluctuate but will must be able to commit to being present during the event.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree - Experience planning large events - Ability to multitask and work on a variety of jobs at one time- Excellent organizational and planning skills - Detail oriented, motivated and self-directed - A commitment to Children’s Future’s mission
