The Program Coordinator Assistant assists with directing and supervising overall program activities and volunteers on each Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30 - 7:30 pm. This position provides assistance in support of one or more programs for our non-profit organization, including fundraising, programming, and community outreach. Manage daily communications regarding meetings and notifications regarding student, staff, scheduling. Assists in the creation of promotional materials or solicitations/informational mailings. Generates reports detailing the status of programs or projects. May help assist with coordinating volunteer schedules or trainings.

Program Coordinator Assistant will:

  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks.
  • Work under general supervision.
  • Acquire a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Typically report to a supervisor or manager.
  • Become familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Description

Project LIFT, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, is a performance based mentoring program that provides participants with a personal mentor (Coach) to help them improve their academic performance and enhance their abilities to withstand daily challenges as a teen. During the school year, students attend academic and personal development sessions. During these sessions students focus on their goals and how to achieve them. These sessions provide academic support, mentor and peer accountability, and life skills development.
