We are looking for amazing volunteers to coach with our schools in Ingleside for our Spring 2017 season. This season will start in March and go until late May/early June. Coaching is one of the most rewarding ways to get involved with Girls on the Run.
Throughout the 10 week program, coaches work directly with 3rd-8th grade girls facilitating the curriculum, modeling healthy habits, and building strong and positive relationships. This position entails approximately 4 hours per week during after-school hours with additional time needed to prepare for the lessons during the season and to complete requirements to become a coach.
If available please email Julia Means, our North Region Program Coordinator, at jmeans@gotrchicago.org for a list of schools in need of coaching help.
