Looking to volunteer in your community? Want to make a difference in the lives of people with special needs? We have a spot for you. Our largest annual fundraiser is held each July and we are gearing up to start just after the New Year.
Tara’s chance is dedicated to promoting the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of at risk youth and/ or those with special needs through a special partnership with horses. A place where therapy feels like play.

Description
Established in November 2012 and located in the city of Fullerton, Tara's Chance provides equine assisted therapies to special needs children in Orange County, California. The mission of Tara's Chance is to promote the physical, cognitive and social well-being of those with special needs through a special partnership with horses.
Currently, Tara's Chance utilizes five therapeutic horses to provide 30-minute equine assisted therapy sessions to thirty-two special needs children in Orange County, with an additional six children on a waiting list. Working with caregivers to establish therapeutic goals based on individual needs, to date 90% of clients have demonstrated improvements in physical, cognitive and social skills.
