Wild Spirit Education participates in several citizen science programs in the Western NY region. We are looking for one or two dedicated people to help coordinate training sessions, teach the various programs and recruit volunteers to participate in the programs.
We partcipate in Frogwatch, Nestwatch, Firefly watch and Caterpillars Count. We also participate in the Christmas Bird Count and the Great Backyard Bird Count.
Training will be provided.

Wild Spirit Education is a non-profit environmental education organization. We do a small amount of wildlife rehabilitation but focus mostly on education peole about the natural world. We participate in scientific studies including bird banding. We are the local chapter for both FrogWatch USA and Nestwatch.
