Volunteers will be responsible for demonstrating the holiday boredom buster activity to visitors. The volunteer shift is from 1:00-3:00 with the program running from 1:30-2:30.
Stop by the Riverfront Museum to see how you can add a little extra science and a lot more fun to your winter break! We'll be demonstrating awesome sensory chemistry experiments in the lobby that are perfect for the whole family. Best of all, we'll give you an instruction sheet so you can recreate the fun at home!

The volunteer mission is to supplement the mission of the Peoria Riverfront Museum by providing genuine hospitality to visitors, engaging visitors in educational programming, assisting with the interpretation of exhibitions, and inspiring the community through the value of volunteer service.

We focus on interdisciplinary learning--a fusion of art, history, science, and achievement designed to develop knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a lifelong passion for learning.
