Some days, all you really need to feel good about your life situation is a "good hair day" !
We have several neighbors that are not able to drive to hair appointments because of mobility and health issues. If you are a retired or part time stylist, you could help! I am looking for a volunteer to visit these ladies in their home to wash, trim and set their hair.
This may be the perfect opportunity to add a little bounce to your own curl while helping a senior lady feel like a queen for the day!

The mission of the NORTH END-SOUTH COMO BLOCK NURSE PROGRAM is to maintain levels of independence for our neighborhood seniors through the collaborative efforts of volunteers, professional staff and contracted in-home nursing services. Proudly helping neighborhood seniors since 1987
Description
We are a non-profit community based home-care agency supported by grants, city, county and state funding, and the generous donations of our neighbors.
It is our goal to have a volunteer readily available whenever a senior or their family member calls for help!
By bringing together volunteers and older people, we can serve as a bridge to building stronger communities, the same commuinities they helped to build. Stronger communities can in turn better meet the needs and develop the strengths of people living there now and in the future.
