Phone Operator Needed to Support Tax Program!

Founded in 1972 as a highly successful, national Head Start demonstration project, Home Start provides services to children living in poverty who require immediate, comprehensive solutions to ensure their safety and healthy development. In 1977, Home Start incorporated as a San Diego-based, private non-profit agency dedicated to child abuse prevention and family strengthening services.

Home Start will be opening up Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) locations come mid-January in east and central San Diego. These locations will be open to help low-income families file their taxes for free. Home Start is in need of multiple volunteers to serve as Phone Operators. Phone Operators need to be friendly and will be responsible for answering phone about the VITA Tax Program and help maintain appointments. Each location has specific times of operation and we will be sure to accommodate your needs and availability when assigning you a location.
