We seek to increase students' language skills, confidence in speaking and comprehension of English. Volunteers are needed to teach beginner level English classes to adult learners. Volunteers willl teach one class per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, 9:30-12:00. Classes run January 17, 2017 - March 24, 2017 and are held at 331 East 70th Street in Manhattan. Training and supervision are provided but volunteers are responsible for preparing weekly lesson plans for their classes and writing brief summaries of student progress.
