An ESL class visits the public library while learning about community resources.

About

We are looking for 1-2 class assistants to help with a new Computer Basics class at VSS for our English Language Learner students. The volunteer class assistants would help the main instructor and would be responsible for helping students practice basic computer skills and concepts.

Our students are primarily refugees and immigrants from Burma, Vietnam, and Somalia who love their teachers, including the volunteers.

We ask for a committment of at least 2 hours per week, either 1:45-2:45 or 1:30-3:00. on any days Monday-Thursday for the Computer Class
