The Racine Literacy Council is in need of teachers (current or retired) who have a background in working with individuals with special needs (behavorial or emotional) or learning difficulties. Staff is not able to diagnose learning disabilities but we find that a percentage of our learners need specialized attention.
*Please note that we are not equipped to train individuals who do not already have this type of experience. The RLC would train you in how to become a tutor with our organization but we would look to you to be the "expert" in how to work with a student and their exact needs.*
For more information, contact Sherry Engstrom at (262) 977-2879.
