Partners-In-Art: partnering with neighborhood wellness facilities seeking to serve a greater good, incorporating purposeful visual arts for patients and facility staff as a way to offer a creative experience in an untraditional environment. Creative compassion is the underlying theme, and as a Teaching Artist, you would work sometime one-on-one, or with a small group, for 60-90 mins, sharing your creative skillset(s) for a positive takeway for the adult(s).
This program would be once a week at the wellness facility. You will be a TAHP Inc volunteer, but you would be required to complete an informational packet for the facility, as well as a medical form. A TB screening is also required.
This is a unique initiative that will bring positivity to people often overlooked by the creative community. We welcome you to help us give them a new perspective at this facility.
