Everyone's Harvest, a nonprofit in Monterey County since 2003, is looking for an intern to assist in the Edible Education Program. The Edible Education Program is a program where Everyone's Harvest hires local chefs to teach cooking classes to the community, creating dishes that incorporate the produce our farmers sell at our farmers' markets.
The Edible Education/Outreach Intern would manage their own tastings, create recipes and food samples to share with the community. These tastings are giving our community an opportunity to try a healthier alternative to the everyday snack/meal. In addition, to managing your own tastings, the Edible Education/Outreach Intern will assist the Program Coordinator in Cooking Workshops and with enough experience can coordinate a few workshops on their own.
Lastly, our intern will be participating in a variety of different outreach events to educate our community on the available cooking workshops, demonstrations, tastings and Everyone's Harvest as a nonprofit. If you are an energetic individual willing to learn and want to help your community live healthier, please email Everyone's Harvest, info@everyonesharvest.org.

Mission Statement
The mission of Everyone’s Harvest is to create vibrant healthy communities and equitable food webs. We believe everyone deserves the right to access locally grown organic produce and free public events are necessary to strengthen a community.
Description
Everyone’s Harvest is a non-profit that brings people and healthy food together. We run the Marina, Pacific Grove, and Alisal Certified Farmers’ Markets for the benefit of farmers and consumers alike. Everyone’s Harvest strongly believes everyone deserves the right to fresh, healthy, organic produce supplied by our local region and that free public events are necessary to strengthen a community. In 2002, Everyone’s Harvest started when five women noticed the lack of local, fresh, organic produce in Marina. Together, they decided to start the Marina Certified Farmers’ Market.
Volunteer with Everyone's Harvest
Everyone’s Harvest is always looking for nice, reliable, motivated and enthusiastic volunteers. We sincerely thank our volunteers for all of their hard work--without their efforts and commitment, many Market events and activities would not be possible!
Becoming a volunteer with Everyone’s Harvest will give you an opportunity to meet small-scale family farmers and local vendors, learn what it takes to put on a Certified Farmers’ Market and connect with your local community.
