Everyone's Harvest, a nonprofit in Monterey County since 2003, is looking for an intern to assist in the Edible Education Program. The Edible Education Program is a program where Everyone's Harvest hires local chefs to teach cooking classes to the community, creating dishes that incorporate the produce our farmers sell at our farmers' markets.
The Edible Education/Outreach Intern would manage their own tastings, create recipes and food samples to share with the community. These tastings are giving our community an opportunity to try a healthier alternative to the everyday snack/meal. In addition, to managing your own tastings, the Edible Education/Outreach Intern will assist the Program Coordinator in Cooking Workshops and with enough experience can coordinate a few workshops on their own.
Lastly, our intern will be participating in a variety of different outreach events to educate our community on the available cooking workshops, demonstrations, tastings and Everyone's Harvest as a nonprofit. If you are an energetic individual willing to learn and want to help your community live healthier, please email Everyone's Harvest, email@example.com.
