The United Way Suncoast Financial Coaching Program trains and matches volunteers with low/moderate income and/or economically disadvantaged individuals who have a desire to gain control of their financial situation. You will work one-on-one with a client, meeting at least once per month, to help them with issues such as creating a budget, eliminating debt, increasing credit score, establishing a plan for college or retirement, and so much more! As you and your client develop an action plan to achieve their current financial goals, you will steer the client toward the ultimate goal of financial stability.
Background in financial literacy topics and coaching welcomed, but not required. Volunteer does not need to be an expert, but must be prepared to acquire knowledge as needed. We are looking for both English speaking and Bi-lingual coaches.
