The Riverdale Neighborhood House is seeking a Marketing and Promotion Assistant to get involved in all marketing aspects of our Health & Harmony Programs. Launched in October 2015, the Health & Harmony Programs, which this year was the subject of a front page article in the local newspaper, is an array of classes and workshops geared to nourishing people's spiritual self to bring inner peace, and fortifying and improving mind and body to enable a longer, healthier, more fulfilling life. Meditation, yoga, fitness, coping with grief, and nutrition constitute only a partial list of our offering areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing/promotion, social media, have an entrepreneurial and creative spirit, and want a hands-on role. This is a great opportunity to have an exciting, well-rounded experience as we take the Health & Harmony Programs to the next level. The Marketing and Promotion Assistant will have the opportunity to strategize, and then apply their marketing and promotion knowledge and experience, real time.

Riverdale Neighborhood House, a settlement house in the northwest Bronx, provides human services, pioneering programs and a broad spectrum of educational and community resources to children, teens, seniors and families from all socioeconomic backgrounds. Description
RNH is a non-sectarian multi-service non-profit organization in the northwest Bronx. Originally founded in 1872 as a library for local workers, RNH has been meeting the social service needs of the community for over 125 years. Current services include our NAEYC accredited early childhood center; an after school program and summer camp; comprehensive youth development including a college success center; support services for homebound older adults; a middle-school enrichment program at MS/HS 368; a swimming pool in the summer and other services or programs on as needed basis.
